Self-Propelled Modular Transporters

can install elevators on telescopic  towers and nacelles on the elevator. The elevators lift and install nacelle on the tower.

The nacelle is turned 90 degrees and the elevator installs a complete rotor or individual blades on the turbine.

The telescopic tower is then raise, with nacelle and rotor, to operational height.

The tower and

Elevator Lifts Nacelle to Top Of Tower.

A telescopic tower is shown in its lowest position with the nacelle raised by the elevator to the top of the upper telescopic section.

The elevator is shown ready to slide the nacelle onto the top telescopic tower section.

When the telescopic sections are retracted together they are very strong and stiff making nacelle and rotor installation safe and quick.

Elevator Slides Nacelle Onto Top Of Tower

The nacelle is shown on top of the tower after being moved from the elevator.

The nacelle will be secured to the top of the tower in a traditional manner allowing it to later be removed as needed.

The elevator will be returned to the base of the telescopic tower to install the rotor on the turbine or to install individual blades on the rotor.

The elevator can

Nacelle is then secured to the top of the tower in a traditional manner.

After the nacelle is secure, the elevator is returned to the bottom of the tower to install the rotor or individual blades.

Complete Rotor Is Placed Horizontally On Elevator 's Rotor Rotation System.

The nacelle is turned 90 degrees with its gear system.

The elevator 's rotor rotation system is placed on the elevator.

The complete rotor is then placed horizontally on the elevator 's rotor rotation system.

The Complete Rotor Is Lifted Horizontally To Top Of Tower.

The rotor is shown lifted horizontally to top of the telescopic tower on the elevator rotor rotation system which is secured to the elevator.

The wind load on the blades is minimal due to the blade orientation.

The elevator's rotor rotation system holds the blades at their strongest location.
